Account Deletion Instructions
At Smash, we respect your privacy and provide a straightforward way for you to delete your account and all associated personal data.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: In the App (Recommended)
- Open the Smash App.
- Go to your Profile tab.
- Tap on Settings or Edit Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Delete Account.
- Confirm your choice. Your account and data will be removed immediately from our active databases.
Option 2: Request via Email
If you no longer have the app installed or prefer to request deletion manually:
- Send an email to Hello@getsmash.net.
- Subject: Account Deletion Request - Smash App.
- Include the email address associated with your account.
- We will process your request within 7 business days and send a confirmation once your data has been permanently deleted.
What Data is Deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, profile picture).
- Your authentication records.
- Your individual match history (where applicable).
- Any personalized settings.
Note: Participation records in public tournaments may remain as anonymized data to maintain the integrity of tournament brackets, but your identity will be removed.
Data Retention Policy
Once the deletion is processed, your data cannot be recovered. If you wish to use Smash again, you will need to create a new account.
